Why I Use Water that Has Been Distilled
Distilled water helps me to swallow lots of pills each day
There are many choices of water, however what kind of water meets my special needs? I’ve decided to drink only water that has been distilled. Why you ask?
I must take many drugs and supplements every day. When I say a lot, I mean almost 50 pills daily. Clearly, this is a big number. I do not have much choice, but to get down all of these pills without getting to sick to take them.
For example, I have osteoporosis and have needed to get down calcium pills every day
As a result of the side effects of some drugs I that needed to have, I now have other aliments. I have to get down more pills that counteract these prior medical problems. For example, I have osteoporosis and have needed to take calcium osteoporosis supplements daily. This is because of all of the Prednisone, because of my Crohn’s disease. Now, I must take several calcium osteoporosis supplement pills to counter this bone calcium problem. This is one reason why I must get down a great number of drugs daily. When taking my pills, I cannot help but notice taste of the various chemicals in the water that flows out of our pipes.
I do not understand it, but my county seems to have water with a very high content of chlorine. The odor is very distinct to me. The water company sends quality notices that indicate the local water has chemicals added for many reasons. These chemicals worry me.
I mean, naturally, the water has chemicals, because the water flows over rocks. But, the additives are a problem for me. The water authority covers a large area, and they want to make certain that the local water supply is potable. Read the water analyses that get delivered in the water bill envelope, since they can be very informative. While ignorance might seem to be bliss, understanding these water additives is important.
With distilled water, I can take all my drugs, vitamins and supplements
One time my brother arrived for a holiday and we talked about chemicals added to the water. He is on the road quite a bit, and he said that he usually brings distilled water. Why, I asked? He told me that it is the water knows he won’t get sick on. Plus, you can purchase distilled water in any food store.
I thought that was interesting. In the past, I had just used distilled water for baby wipes that had dried out. After this conversation, I’ve had even more intestinal problems. Because of intestinal problems, I now have to take quite a few more pills. In addition to my Crohn’s drugs, I also must take vitamins, including multivitamins and iron along with a calcium pyruvate 1000 supplement that are medically prescribed.
Crohns Disease causes me to be very affected by odors that make me throw up. So, I’ve decided to use only distilled water, because I must always take all my drugs, supplements and vitamins every day.
