7 Easy Ways To Sustain Your Motivation And Get Fit

Maybe you have experienced this before whereby you have decided to improve your health and fitness and in the first instance you feel really motivated. Maybe you sat and watched an inspiring film that prompted you to do something, perhaps a friend of yours you hadn’t seen for a while turned up having lost a lot of weight or having gained a good deal of muscle mass or perhaps you were simply fed up of feeling unhealthy. Whatever the reason you started exercising and continued to do so for a few weeks.

However after a while your motivation decreased, you got busy at work, you got tired of making the effort or the results weren’t as good as you’d hoped for and you unconsciously quit your healthy exercise lifestyle. If that all sounds familiar then here are a few easy ways to help regain and sustain your motivation for a healthier lifestyle:

Try setting an enjoyable goal. For example, consider planning out a mountain biking/kayaking/hiking trip in an amazing area of the earth like the the Canadian Rockies, The Andes or The Alps. Immediately then you have an exciting rewarding and motivating goal to target. You should try to be in the best physical shape possible so that you may enjoy your trip as much as possible. If your trip is in 5 montsh time then you can plan a realistic schedule with your fitness goals in mind.

Optin to take part in a local area event. Is there a local fun run, half marathon or something else similar, I’ll bet there is, gte online and find out. Work towards one of these events as a goal to aim for. consider telling a friend of yours so they can come and support you on the actual day and support you in the mean time.

Take up a sport or hobby, this doesn’t have to be an ultra serious thing just a light hearted game of soccer or hockey at the weekends but it gives you an easy and enjoyable way to monitor your fitness levels. Of course the initial couple of sessions may be very taxing but you will soon notice an improvement and start to look and feel better.

Visualise. Ok this might sound a bit odd at first but try and find a bit of time each day to sit and visualise in your minds eye exactly how you wish to feel and look. Doing this sends a powerful mesage to your sub conscious about what decisions you should be making during your day. Keep doing this and your behaviour will automatically alter to reflect your goals and lead you towards your visualised goals. This works by the way, nearly all top sportsmen use this in some form or other.

Involve family, friends and even your pet dog. Getting more people involved makes it less likely for you to get bored and lose motivation. You are a great deal less likely to be lazy and be inactive at home if your mates are phoning and texting you to get you to go to join them.

Educate yourself. Be curious find out about how to build muscle up, find out how to get a 6 pack, find out how to shed pounds, find out what muscle building nutrition you need for no nonsense muscle building and so on. By growing your knowledge you are quite probably going to improve the rate that your fitness levels will increase which will then serve to increase your motivation more.

Don’t compare yourself to others. No matter who you are there is always going to be someone bigger stronger fitter, leaner sexier or whatever. Acknowledge this fact and realise that we all travel through this life process each from our own different perspectives. Pay more attention to how you feel than to anything else, if you feel good then you are likely getting healthier.

So, with those tips in mind go hit the gym and do whatever it is that you enjoy doing to keep fit, build lean muscle mass or whatever else you want to do, you can do it, just keep it fun. The following is highly recommended for lean muslc growth burn the fat build the muscle book.

A Health Instructor in the Most Popular Co-ed High School in the Local Community Inspires Her Students to Learn About the Significance of Alcohol Dependency Signs in Today’s Society

Miss Benning was a health teacher at the most popular co-ed high school in the district. Even though she had been teaching for only one year, she had already achieved a reputation as an educator with instructional methods that stimulated and encouraged the students in her class to learn and to think.

As an illustration, one Wednesday morning at 8:00 she addressed the pupils in her classroom and said the following: “For the next four or five days we are going to learn about some basic alcoholism facts from a general viewpoint and we are also going to learn about several of the most typical signs of alcoholism from a less general and more detailed viewpoint.”

“Not all of these alcoholism signs will categorically show that a drinker with a drinking problem is an alcohol addicted individual, but the more signs that a drinker manifests, the more likely it is that he or she is an alcohol addicted person.”

Miss Benning then informed the members in the class that each individual would be accountable for investigating three alcoholism signs and then presenting his or her results to the rest of the class via a fifteen minute oral presentation.

The Pupils are Excited About Giving A Comprehensive Presentation to Their Fellow Pupils About The Signs of Alcohol Addiction

After learning about the diverse signs of alcohol addiction for quite a few days, the time had come for the oral presentations. It was at once noticeable that her pupils were thrilled about the topic because the information that they presented was outstanding. To say that Miss Benning was pleasantly surprised with the interest exhibited by the students in her classroom regarding this subject could not be overstated.

The day after all of the students completed their presentations, Miss Benning passed out a sheet of paper with a list of all the alcoholism signs that were presented and discussed in the presentations and in class. Miss Benning then asked the students in her classroom to go over the list and rank the top six alcohol dependency signs that were most indicative of alcohol dependency. After around twenty minutes, Miss Benning collected the sheets of paper and explained to the pupils in her class that after she assesses the numbers, she will discuss her findings the next school day.

There was some real excitement by the pupils while they were exiting Miss Benning’s class. One could swear that her pupils couldn’t wait for the next day to arrive so that they could find out the outcome of their in-class research.

The Pupils Contrast Their Results With the Appraisals From A Council of Alcoholism Experts

When the next school day arrived, Miss Benning gave out a sheet of paper that listed the top five alcoholism signs as per the students’ rankings. Next to these results, she included another column that was labeled “correct response.” She then told her pupils that the numbers in the extra column she added stood for the conclusions that were constructed by a team of alcohol dependency authorities.

Miss Benning asked the pupils in her classroom to look over the information she passed out and then to raise their hand if they had any issues, questions, or concerns. Within 40 or 50 seconds, almost everyone in the class raised her or his hand. It was obvious that the students had some concerns, issues, or questions about their results versus the answers given by the authorities. For instance, virtually every pupil disagreed with the highest ranked answer given by the professionals, specifically, “Do you feel exceptionally sick when you stop drinking?”

The Primary Difference Between Alcoholism and Alcohol Abuse is the Physical Dependency That is Experienced With Alcohol Dependency and Not With Alcohol Abuse

Miss Benning then told the students in her class why this answer was the most correct indicator of alcohol addiction. She underlined the fact that the most important difference between alcohol abuse and alcohol addiction is the physical dependency that is experienced with alcohol addiction and not with alcohol abuse.

Fundamentally this means that when an individual who is alcohol dependent abruptly stops drinking, he or she will suffer through alcohol withdrawal symptoms.

Miss Benning then told her pupils that alcohol withdrawal symptoms are responses by the body and by the brain to the deficiency of alcohol to which they had become acclimated. Stated more forcefully, alcohol withdrawal symptoms are signals from the body and from the brain telling a person who is addicted to alcohol that something is dreadfully misaligned and needs to be rectified. These messages consist of a number of painful, dangerous, and uncomfortable withdrawal symptoms that can potentially lead to a person’s death if the proper treatment is not immediately obtained.

Miss Benning then discussed the many different alcohol withdrawal symptoms that can be experienced when an alcohol addicted individual abruptly quits drinking.

The fact that Miss Benning tried to emphasize was this: a person who engages in alcohol abuse can experience almost any and every one of the alcohol dependency signs that the students had ranked, but the one symptom or sign that few, if any, people who engage in alcohol abuse ever experience is alcohol withdrawal symptoms.

To explain this as precisely as possible, Miss Benning emphasized the point that alcohol abusers, unlike alcohol dependent people, are not alcohol dependent and as a result, when they stop drinking, they almost never experience alcohol withdrawal symptoms.

The Students Think They Have Discovered A Deviation With the Findings From The Panel of Substance Abuse Specialists

The students also had a problem with the second ranked answer given by the alcohol dependency experts, that is to say, “Have you ever had a drink the first thing in the morning to get rid of a hangover or to steady your nerves?”

Miss Benning informed the students in her classroom that this sign does not automatically signify that the problem is alcohol dependency, but that it does point to the need that people who are addicted to alcohol have to drink in order to prevent alcohol withdrawal symptoms.

After Miss Benning explained the significance of alcohol withdrawal symptoms in the life of the alcohol dependent person, the students started to appreciate the major difference between alcohol abuse and alcoholism.

To add a sense of closure to the topic, Miss Benning asked the students in her class to take out a piece of paper and answer the following question: “if every individual who is alcohol dependent knew about every one of the alcohol withdrawal symptoms and alcohol addiction signs we have studied, what percentage of them do you think would seek alcoholism rehabilitation?”

After about two or three minutes, Miss Benning asked for the pupils’ predictions. While many students believed that approximately 80 to 90 percent of individuals who are addicted to alcohol would obtain alcohol dependency rehab if they knew about the facts related to alcohol withdrawal symptoms and alcohol addiction signs, most of the students thought that this number would not be less than 60 percent.

The Pupils Were Astonished to Find Out That Only 25% of Alcohol Dependent People in the U.S. Seek Alcohol Rehabilitation

To the amazement of most of the students, Miss Benning stated that according to various scientific studies, only 25% of the alcohol dependent people in the U.S. ask for alcoholism rehab. This surprised most of the students because they thought that first-hand knowledge of the gruesome facts and statistics correlated with alcoholism would motivate the majority of the alcohol addicted individuals to get alcohol rehabilitation.

Miss Benning then stated that alcohol dependent individuals not only need alcohol on a daily basis in order to function but they also require alcohol everyday so they can stay away from possible alcohol withdrawal symptoms. Clearly, the alcoholic’s need to drink on a daily basis is stronger than logic or facts. Indeed, due to the fact that the thirst for alcohol is “reality” to the individual who is addicted to alcohol, this is difficult to reverse.

The Students are Encouraged to Learn About Alcohol Addiction Symptoms and Signs in Today’s Society

A few minutes later the bell rang, indicating the end of the class. Based on the excitement exhibited by the pupils when they were leaving the classroom, Miss Benning realized that she had motivated and encouraged the students in her class to stop and think about a critical health and social problem that exists in our culture.

Motivation: Mehr Motivation für Dich

Motivation Erfolg

Deswegen frage Dich: Was ist meine Vision? Was will ich den Menschen geben?

Kannst Du sehen, was mit Deiner Motivation passiert?!

Yippieh!

Alles Liebe und viel Motivation für Dich!
